Caring for your adult and senior dog

Your dog’s annual wellness visit is an opportunity for you to share with us your observations of your dog at home. We work with you to make recommendations for vaccines, parasite control, nutrition, weight management, dental care, allergies, pain management, and behavior issues. We use Fear Free handling practices to help avoid stress and anxiety, taking care to make your dog’s visit as comfortable as possible.

Adult dog recommendations:

• annual physical exam
• annual deworming, if needed
• annual internal parasite testing
• annual Heartworm and tick disease screening
• vaccines or vaccine titers,  protocols developed by the American Animal Hospital Association

Senior dog, additional recommendations:

• annual lab work for early disease detection
• treatment plans to optimize comfort, health, and longevity
