End of Life Care

Palliative Care

Palliative Care is treatment specific to alleviating symptoms to improve quality of life rather than treatment to effect a cure. Its aim is to provide comfort. Treatments for pain, anxiety, nausea, and vomiting are often used. Other issues such as mobility impairment, nutritional deficits, hygiene, and emotional wellbeing are also addressed.  We work with you to help provide the best options for the care of your ill or aging pet.

Euthanasia

The decision-making process for end-of-life care may be difficult on many levels. It is hard to know if you are doing the right thing, and then once the decision is made, when?  Our experienced veterinarians are here to help and guide you. We truly understand that the last loving act we provide for our pets is also the hardest. Our goal is to provide a calm, well-planned transition that honors the life of your pet.
